Cello & Sniper Ch. 6 — Virtuosa × Lemuen
“Lem, ready?”The pinkette inhaled, then nodded, as if already dreading the ache she knew was coming.“Of course.” Arturia took slow steps back, her diamond-shaped gaze fixed on Lemuen’s face and legs, scanning her for any sign of extreme pain, any hint that her legs might give out — yet beyond the faint groans and pursed lips, Lemuen made her way, step by step, to the designated area for her exercises.Lemuen smiled, despite the occasional frown that broke through. “I told you I’ve been improving lately.” Her eyes remained unwavering, looking at Arturia as if in search of approval.“And I couldn’t be happier about it.” The noirette’s backsteps were slow and measured, her patience the kind the medical staff had praised more times than she could count — she stood by one end of the course and gave Lemuen’s hands a firm squeeze.“Slow steps, yes? I will know when to stop. Tell me when you are ready.” Arturia’s words were laced with care. Lemuen took a deep breath, then nodded at her partner — the cellist in turn took one step back, grounding Lemuen’s steps. One step, then another. Arturia noticed Lemuen squint her eyes, but her body did not falter — the noirette paused briefly, watching her with a tender expression until Lemuen’s eyes opened again.“Thanks,” the Cardinal hummed. The back and forth continued; Lemuen would take occasional stops with her sighing growing louder, but she would resume walking not long after.Once they had reached one end of the course and Arturia had helped Lemuen turn back to face the other end, the physiotherapist gave a light clap to catch their attention.“Miss Giallo, could you head to the other end? One round without support and we will stop for the day.” Elena spoke while taking a few notes, gesturing to the nurse to stay near Lemuen for the end.“Elena, I can still manage a few more laps.”The older Sankta shook her head. “Cardinal Lemuen, you shouldn’t overdo it — you’ve done enough for today.”Lemuen sighed in place, turning to face Arturia with an exhausted look — Arturia could feel it; she knew Lemuen’s determination as well as her stubbornness, and how being denied the chance to push further could sting.Arturia said nothing more. She simply walked to the far end of the course, turned to face Lemuen, and opened her arms.No instructions. No encouragement dressed in words. Just her arms, wide and waiting, and the same warm, unhurried expression she wore whenever Lemuen needed her most — the kind that asked for nothing and promised everything.Lemuen’s breath caught. She knew that stance. She knew what it meant, without needing to be told: come to me, and I will be here regardless of how you arrive.Elena gave the pinkette a light nod, stepping back to grant her the space to try. The nurse remained close in watchful silence. One last lap without support — and at the end of it, no clinical praise, no notes on a chart. Just Arturia, arms open, exactly where Lemuen would land.Lemuen swallowed hard and took her first step alone. A pang lanced through Arturia’s chest — not her own, but Lemuen’s. Their reignited Empathy flared, Lemuen’s frustration crashing over Arturia like waves. What others could only glimpse through the pinkette’s pursed lips and twitching eyelids, Arturia felt directly — as if the anguish were her own.The ravenette’s smile widened with each step Lemuen took — each one a small victory. Arturia remained still, readily waiting for the Cardinal to cross the course one last time. Lemuen opened her arms for better balance, and Arturia nodded at her.One step, then another — a pained sigh — and Lemuen found herself in Arturia’s embrace. The pinkette rested her chin on Arturia’s shoulder and gasped while her partner did her best to keep her standing straight.

Performance of a Lifetime — Virtuosa × Viviana
The breakfast tray was perfectly balanced — coffee still steaming, toast arranged just so, a small bowl of berries Arturia had requisitioned from Rhodes Island's galley with the sort of polite insistence that made the kitchen staff fold without argument. She'd risen early for this, driven by something quieter than habit — the still-practised wish to share mornings with someone she loved.Viviana's quarters were three corridors away from her own. Close enough for convenience, far enough to maintain propriety — though propriety had stopped mattering somewhere between the third shared kiss and the whispered confession that had slipped from Arturia's lips like prayer: I love you.She knocked twice. No answer. Her brow furrowed. Viviana was often an early riser, but perhaps exhaustion from yesterday's operation had caught up with her. Arturia shifted the tray to one hand, reaching for the door handle — unlocked, as it often was when Viviana knew she was coming."Viviana? I've brought—"The words died.

Just the Two of Us CM — Bismarck x Prinz Eugen
Bismarck could not recall how much she had dealt with that day — from the piles of paperwork and documents that almost reached the ceiling, to the joint naval exercises, to supervising the trials of prototype weaponry and ammunition, to the small altercation she had to solve with an almost berserk Roon. The blonde had barely had any time to do so much as take a breather. She could feel the weight of her coat upon her weary shoulders, and it seemed as though exhaustion had caught up even with Geryon, who had given her nothing but annoyed growls ever since he'd had to restrain Roon. The blonde stood at her front door, the lights of the Port's lampposts seemingly unbearably bright, causing her to lower her cap to shield her eyes from them."I'm home," she muttered to herself, picking up her keys and finding even those difficult to lift. If she were lucky, Eugen should have brewed her some nice coffee by that point. The blonde unlocked the front door and stepped inside, taking off her coat and hat, placing them on the hanger by the entrance."Eugen? I'm home," she mumbled, and soon an answer came from the kitchen."Biiis~ko."The Heavy Cruiser left the kitchen, stopping at the end of the entrance hallway and swinging her hip to the side. "You didn't tell me you were coming home — you didn't message me at all today."The blonde lowered her head, her fringe covering her visage lightly. "Ah... Apologies, things were so busy that I—"Loud thumps against the wooden floor, and then Eugen closed the distance, rising onto the tips of her toes to catch Bismarck's lips in a swift, theatrical peck, hands resting upon the blonde's shoulders."Gunpowder, oil, sea water, cheap office tea, dry sweat, and something else I can't quite put my finger on — aren't you lucky I've been preparing you a nice bath?" The Heavy Cruiser's lips curled into a sultry curve as she slipped behind the Battleship, urging her forward as Bismarck attempted to resist."Eugen, I still have a few matters that I need to—" she protested."𝘕𝘦𝘪𝘯, those can wait." She shut her eyes as she leaned against Bismarck's back, lips grazing her cheek and tracing her jawline.
